Howdy!

My name is Anu Khatri, and I am a UX Designer with a background in front-end development and a master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction from DePaul University.

I found my passion for design during my undergrad studies at Texas A&M University, where I designed websites and social media content for various student organizations I was a part of. This led me to minor in Art - New Media, which helped me build a strong foundation in visual design, layout, and design principles alongside my technical coursework.

Since then, I’ve focused on designing user-centered digital experiences that balance research, strategy, and visual craft. Through my professional and academic experience, I’ve worked across the full design process, from research and synthesis to wireframing, prototyping, and creating high-fidelity designs for hand-off, while ensuring designs are grounded in user insights and business goals. I enjoy collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate complex problems into intuitive, scalable solutions.

Travel is one of my passions - there is just so much to see out there! I love to be outside, whether that is sitting out on the lakefront in Chicago or going on hikes at the many U.S. National Parks. I am a really crafty person - I have picked up embroidery, sewing, and most recently pottery. If I’m not crafting, I am outside being active - it could be biking, volleyball, tennis, or even pickleball. Whenever I am out and about, I like to capture the moment on my film camera. Check out some of my photos below!
